About Me

Hi! I am an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I have been working and teaching in the independent animation field since 2011, after graduating from Boston University. I'm currently an MFA candidate in the Integrated Media Arts program at Hunter College.

I started my career as an editor at Signe Baumane's studio, then as the producer at Bill Plympton's studio. Since leaving Plympton's, I've been developing my own projects. My animated short "My First Sessions" was published by The New Yorker Documentary in 2020. I've directed two music videos for Verve Records, the most recent being "Cheek to Cheek" by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

My work explores a range of ideas, such as expressions of the human body, mental health, stories about immigration, and more.
