About Me

Hi! I am an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I have been working and teaching in the independent animation field since 2011, after graduating from Boston University. I'm currently an MFA candidate in the Integrated Media Arts program at Hunter College.

I got my first job as the editor and compositor on Signe Baumane's feature animation "Rocks In My Pockets". After that production wrapped, I worked as the senior producer at Bill Plympton Studio for 5 years. Since leaving Plympton's, I've been developing my own projects. My animated short "My First Sessions" was published by The New Yorker Documentary. I've directed two music videos for Verve Records, the most recent being "Cheek to Cheek" by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

My work explores a range of ideas, such as expressions of the human body, mental health, stories about immigration, and more.
