About Me

Hi! I am an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I have been working and teaching in the independent animation field since 2011, after studying Painting and Film Production at Boston University.

I'm currently teaching animation and storyboarding at School of Visual Arts, Queens College, and Kingsborough Community College. I'm also an MFA candidate in the Integrated Media Arts program at Hunter College.

I started my career as an editor on Signe Baumane's debut feature film "Rocks In My Pockets". From 2013 to 2018, I worked as the senior producer at celebrated indie director Bill Plympton's studio. Since leaving Plympton's, I've been developing my own projects. My animated short "My First Sessions" was published by The New Yorker Documentary in 2020. I've directed two music videos for Verve Records, the most recent being "Cheek to Cheek" by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

My work explores a range of ideas, such as expressions of the human body, mental health, stories about immigration, and more.
